I had lumbar facet injections about 7 months ago. Be patient, at first I didn’t think it was a success but within 10 days I was fine. I will repeat when and if it fails. I spoke to one lady who had gone 2 years. Sometimes you need to repeat it but that’s OK too. Be positive, good luck with it. I recommend it!

I was in a car accident over a year ago and suffered a concussion and severe whiplash. I have seen more doctors and specialist than I can remember. I have been miserable since the accident! After 23 years of pain in my lower back and going from this doctor to that doctor with no results, I figured it was just something I would have to live with.
After speaking with Dr. Katz for less than 10 minutes he knew exactly what my problem was! After my examination, I was treated and I felt relief for the 1st time in 23 years! Doctors have been telling me for years that the problem was in my back when it actually was an issue with my SI joint. His knowledge and experience took him right to the problem, and he was able to treat it right away. I'd also like to mention that I've never felt more welcomed and cared for by such a friendly and caring staff, then as by the wonderful ladies at Advanced Health Soloutions, and just to be honest, after dealing with this pain for so long, and finally feeling relief, they have renewed my trust in the medical profession.

I am 68 years old. My injections are a steroid type but I am not sure the name of the drug. My doc Katz is also an anesthesiologist and pain management doctor. When I had the first injections he said that if I get relief from them we will know that it is the facet joints that are causing my pain and I did get total relief. Since I only need to get the injections approximately once a year my doc said that it would be okay to continue with them if that is what I wanted to do.
